Jerry’s Curb Service
– Burger joint, serving since 1947. Try their signature sandwich: the Dorsey (double cheeseburger with BBQ and garlic pepper sauces). They’ve also got what’s called a “Burnt Herbie”, which is a deep-fried ham and American cheese sandwich (okay, I actually think that sounds pretty interesting). Jerry’s also claims the invention of the original Steak Salad.

Daly Drive-In Diner
– This location opened in 1959, the last of a chain of Daly’s. Interesting specialty menu items such as Classic Dalyburgers, Dalydogs (Foot long hot dog with Coney Island sauce), the “Chee-Chee” (Cheese and Chili on a bun), the Hamdinger ((Ham and Swiss Cheese sub with special sauce), Malts, Banana Splits!
